Hi there, good to see you!

I have a few new things to announce, none of which I have started working on yet but would like to inform everybody who likes being informed about.

First off, I'm preparing to do two new things that will probably end up being rather complicated but hopefully still fun and enjoyable. One is a story called "CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY", a title derived from mortal combat, but actually having nothing to do with mortal combat.

This story will be a tad different from the rest of the stuff I have posted. I have created a secret account that will act as "data storage", and will house almost all of the story. The story itself will be my first major project of this nature and at the end of each new page will be links. The links signify decisions made by you, the reader, as you walk through this virtual world. There will also be a "back/undo" button for those of us who simply want to read all the different ways you can go through the story.

This project will be rather massive and will have small updates every week or two after being launched, but it won't be coming out until after Christmas at the very least. I would say after thanksgiving, but minecraft is going to have its official release mid-november and I must prepare my server. My fortresses will have no comparison!! Muahhahahahah~~!

The second thing that I'm still debating whether I should do is a turn based game on this or another account where I would be a "Dungeon Master" of sorts, and once a day the turn will advance where I will reveal what happened to the players based on what they declare their actions to be. The two biggest problems I foresee right now is that the game could easily become extremely crowded and consequentially I would be unable to update what happens in the game due to me being only human.... although I have a few ideas of how to maybe solve that. I am not a D&D player at all and only have the vaguest of notions of how to be a dungeon master, so tips will be appreciated. I also have yet to decide what the player cap should be. It has to be big enough that people who want to play can play... but not so big that it becomes unplayable. I may very well end up making multiple rooms for players so that two or more stories and parties can play simultaneously, but I would still only update one of them per day, rotating through the games for fairness.

If you think a turn based fantasy game that will in all likelihood be adult in nature is a cool idea and would like to play should I decide to do this, please respond as such to the first comment that I will leave as placeholder in this journal. The reason for my posing this idea is because I've been getting a lot of requests for role-playing, and I thought it would be a pretty fun to include a lot of people at once in a role playing game. Even if enough people want to try it, it will take me a while before I can have everything ready.

And lastly, a few updates about what's going on about my regular story postings. I missed last Saturday due to personal reasons, but I think it was okay because the Halloween post was so large that it made up for it. Play Ball is back under the pencil and will soon be completed, with any luck before Saturday, and I have yet to even decide what Saturday's post should be, so I'm a tad behind schedule there but I swear I will have something ready. I may very well just whip up a short story for Saturday, since I have several that I've been wanting to write but haven't found the time to. This means that it won't be a very long story, but should still be fun to read. The Saturday after that I aught to have a full length story ready, in all likelihood it will be part two to Biotech: The Century Voyage. Any of you that have visited that particular work in progress in google docs know that it's a long ways from completion, but have no fear that it will be done.
